Join us this Thursday evening from 6-9pm as the Node Zero Gallery takes the Second Life art experience to a new level with its latest collection of interactive exhibits from 8 emerging new artists. (Sponsored by The Wishfarmers.)

The collection also features the work of no less 8 unique and talented artists: Sp0t Schism, Georg Janick, Feathers Boa, Bryn Oh, Adam Ramona, Aiyas Aya, Ub Yifu, and Crash Perfect.

The Node Zero Gallery is largely constructed of aesthetically pleasing programmable objects. Some you walk around inside of, bathing in the sights and sounds around you. Others take you underground on a little adventure, full of hidden treasures and puzzles for you to find, explore, and work your way through.

"Sheep Vortex" is digital artist Spot Draves' (http://hifidreams.com/) first Second Life art experience (3D Art & Design by Somatika Xiao - a.k.a. David Stumbaugh). Spot (SL-Sp0t Schism), creator of the Electric Sheep Screensaver, will be there in person for a live Q and A session at 7pm.

Spot's work is currently featured on the MOMA website, and was also featured on the cover of this month's Leonardo.

You can see his videos in action here: http://hifidreams.com/.

Without A Hitch

The gallery opening was a huge success! Many thanks to all of you who came out to check out the artwork. Node zero is off to a great start and we're all optimistic about what the near future has in store.

Not only was the gallery opening experienced in-world; Aiyas Aya, the gallery curator, also installed a set of physical projections for RL visitors to explore the gallery space with. Hundreds of visitors came through the installation and interacted with patrons within the virtual gallery. Here is a short video clip taken from the event.

Also be sure to check out some of Gary Bukowski (the lead sponsor and gallery overseer)'s SL photography from opening night here.

Boa, and unique virtual creations by Hinton Sisters,
