Q: What types of payment do you accept?
Online we use PayPal's shopping cart system to accept: VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, or E-CHECKS.
Q: What if I don't have a credit card?
No problem. Pay in person by cash, money order, or certified cheque.
We also accept certified cheques and money orders by regular mail.
Please call or email us to place an order or set up an appointment to visit us in person.
Q: Do I need a PayPal account to order?
You DO NOT need to be a registered PayPal user to buy from us. Simply enter your credit card and shipping information at the checkout without having to login.
Q: Is your site secure?
Yes. PayPal uses SSL technology to keep your information safe. Click here for more information on the safeguards employed by PayPal.
Q: What currency are prices in? Do I have to pay taxes on my purchase?
All prices are in Canadian dollars. Items purchased within Ontario are subject to PST (8%) and GST (5%).
Q: What is your return policy?
- If you receive an item that is defective or has been damaged in shipment, please contact us immediately so that we can help you replace the item.
- If, for any reason, you are unsatisfied with your purchase we will gladly exchange or refund the item. The merchandise must not have any visible signs of wear, have the tags intact, and be returned within 20 days of purchase. Simply email or call us to ship your item, along with your invoice, to Gutsy Dame. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the items to us, and we will cover the cost of shipping the exchanged items back to you.
- If you want to exchange or return an item and avoid shipping, feel free to set up an appointment and come to Gutsy Dame in person.
- All sale items are FINAL sale and may not be returned for an exchange.

Q: What is "stretch factor"?
You will find this description for certain items in the size chart. It means that you can expect the material to comfortably stretch width-wise the listed number of inches.
Q: The item I was looking at last week, is no longer on the site. Whats up?
Due to the small scale nature of this business, it is rare that we order more than one of each size in any item. So if you see something you like in your size, don't wait! Get it while its hot.
Q: Why can't I search by tag size?
Each manufacturer's sizing varies so it makes more sense to search by measurements in inches than by label size. A 3X in one brand may be very different from a 3X in another. To ensure a proper fit, please measure yourself and see the size chart for each item.
Q: Can I volunteer to be a model?
Absolutely. If you think you embody the Gutsy Dame philosophy and are able to travel to Richmond Hill for photoshoots, just send us some pictures along with your measurements or sizing info and we will be glad to keep your information on file and contact you when needed.
